Tralee Chamber Alliance has sought guidance from three counties, currently under Lockdown, on how to protect Kerry businesses into the next phase of the pandemic.
They've reached out to chamber colleagues in Kildare, Laois and Offaly, and sought their advice on specific measures to ensure they're protected from further economic fall-out.
In a statement published on social media this afternoon, Tralee Chamber says they've engaged with their counterparts in the three counties which are under Lockdown since last Friday, due to new clusters of coronavirus.
They say they've developed a clear message for companies here, to ensure every effort is made to maintain business activity in Kerry.
The main message from the midlands, is for Kerry companies to re-double their efforts to adhere to Covid guidelines, and to do this without cutting corners.
It's also advised that businesses here should review their policies, their PPE stocks and their own procedures, to ensure they are maintained every day.
The advice also includes sharing any relevent updated information about PPE equipment or better ways to follow procedure.
Tralee Chamber is appealing to step in and support other businesses who may be struggling - or if this isn't possible, to approach the chamber itself for help.
Their overall message is to ask all business in the county to continue to work together to keep Kerry safe.
