The N70 at Strand's End near Cahersiveen has reopened.
The road had been closed overnight and this morning following a fatal crash involving a motorcycle and car.
Gardaí say the motorcyclist who died is an Italian man and was one of 3 Italian motorcyclists visiting the country.
