Radio Kerry contacted gardaí for a comment, after Solidarity and Socialist Party TD for Cork North Central Mick Barry criticised gardaí’s presence at the Debenhams store in a tweet this morning.
The Garda Press Office said it doesn’t comment on third-party material.
It did confirm that gardaí went to Debenhams in the Manor West Retail Park this morning to assist in the execution of a High Court order.
Gardaí had no further comment.
