Former Kerry footballer Killian Young is backing a water safety campaign by the RNLI.
The Renard man is one of the well-known GAA figures who have produced home video messages, as part of a partnership between the RNLI and GAA to prevent drowning and save lives.

The former Young Footballer of the Year is advising people to keep inflatables at home, as the RNLI has already seen a sharp rise in the number of inflatable-related callouts.

He says we should all know basic water safety advice and know to raise the alarm if you see someone in trouble on the water, by dialling 999 or 112 and asking for the Coast Guard.
