Up to twenty former Debenhams workers and supporters gathered in Manor West, Tralee today to officially mark the end of their picket.
Last week, former Debenhams workers voted to accept the offer of a three-million-euro training fund after 406 days of pickets demanding better redundancy terms.
Debenhams announced the end of its Irish operations in April 2020, with the loss of around 1,200 jobs nationwide, including 80 in Manor West.
Today, former workers at the Tralee store were joined by Sinn Féin TD Pa Daly and former Dunnes Stores Anti-Apartheid striker, Karen Gearon as they marked the end of the picket.
