A fire broke out at the power station in Tarbert in North Kerry this morning.
The fire service says it was notified of a small industrial fire at the SSE Thermal facility at 11am.
Three units of the fire service – two from Listowel and one from Foynes – have been attending the blaze.

Gardaí are also at the scene.
Authorities say the fire is not serious.
