Fáilte Ireland has launched a new plan to help drive and sustain tourism on the Dingle Peninsula.
The Visitor Experience Development Plan for the Dingle Peninsula aims to create a sustainable tourism destination by extending the tourism season and spreading business across all parts of the peninsula over the next five years.
Among those consulted were Kerry County Council, Dingle Peninsula Tourism Alliance, Údarás na Gaeltachta, the OPW and NEWKD.
The focus of the plan builds on previous destination development projects.
Mark Murphy, chairperson of the development plan, says it’ll build on the peninsula’s reputation for stunning landscapes, the Irish language, hospitality and traditional music.
