An excavation is underway at the site of an ancient tomb discovered in West Kerry.
According to reports, the tomb was discovered by a farmer during land improvement works.
The exact location of the tomb has not been disclosed over fears it could be disturbed.

It's reported that the tomb may date back as far as the Bronze Age, and it contained unusual features as well as a human bone.
The National Museum of Ireland has told Radio Kerry it will not be commenting while the excavation is taking place.
