The Europe Hotel and Resort in Killarney is now operating on 100% green renewable electricity.
The hotel’s commitment for 2020 is to reduce their carbon emissions by 25%, and changing their electricity to renewable was an important step in this.
The Europe Hotel and Resort is part of the Killarney Hotels Sustainability Group, which is committed to continuously strive and reduce the environmental impact of their services and activities.

This step is one of many changes The Europe has made in their commitment to sustainability.
They’re also reducing their food miles by producing their own beef and lamb on the hotel owners, the Liebherr Family’s over 400 acre farm in the shadow of MacGillycuddy’s Reeks.
