ESB Networks is working to restore power to 300 customers in Kerry who remain without power since Storm Éowyn.
ESB Networks area manager for Kerry Sean Scannell says their crews have been deployed since early this morning and restoration work will continue throughout the day.
Additional crews have arrived from Cork to help with the restoration effort.
He says it’s still estimated that it’ll be Saturday before the last customers are reconnected.
UPDATE: 11.40am
ESB Networks says customers in Banna who have been without power since last Friday will have their power restored later today.
However, it says a fallen electricity pole means that some residents in Kilcolgan, Tarbert won’t have their power supply restored until tomorrow.
Some homes in Kilcolgan have been without electricity since Friday.
