€245,000 has been allocated for sports groups in Kerry.
Education Minister and Fianna Fáil TD Norma Foley is welcoming the funding announcement for the Kerry Recreation and Sports Partnership.
The partnership works to encourage and support the people of Kerry to participate in sport and physical activity.

This funding will help the Kerry Recreation and Sports Partnership to drive participation in sport and physical activity, focusing on local community projects, people with disabilities, minority sports and clubs for the elderly.
Minister Foley says this funding will provide a major boost for smaller sporting clubs and groups across Kerry.
