A documentary by a Kerry producer was honoured at last night's Irish Film and Television Academy Awards.
Aideen O'Sullivan, who has connections to Ballyduff and Dingle, is a producer of Breaking Out, the winner of the IFTA's George Morrison Feature Documentary award.
The documentary tells the story of Cork musician Fergus O'Farrell and his band Interference.
Fergus continued to perform until his death at the age of 48, despite being diagnosed with muscular dystrophy at a young age.
Breaking Out, which is directed by Michael McCormack, won the Best Irish Documentary at the Galway Film Fleadh two years ago.
