A Dingle GP is calling for under 70s to be vaccinated in their local GP practice, given the changes around the roll-out of AstraZeneca.
The current plan will see people aged under 70 receiving the injection at their local vaccination centre.
There are two vaccination hubs in Kerry – in Tralee and Killarney.
Dr Conor Brosnan of the Dingle Medical Practice believes it would be more convenient for people, particularly those living in rural parts of the county, to be vaccinated at their local GP practice.
