Dingle Gardaí say social distancing not an issue as large crowds gather

Gardaí in Dingle say there was no issue with social distancing in the town last night.

Around 200 people gathered at Dingle Pier last night, following the closure of local establishments; a video showing the large numbers present was posted on social media.

Gardaí attended and asked the crowd to clear the area.

Sergeant Elaine O'Donoghue from Dingle Garda Station says there was no issue with social distancing and adds everyone present cleared the area, once asked to do so by Gardaí.
