Kerry TD Danny Healy Rae wants driving tests to be held over the weekends to clear the huge backlog of people waiting for a test.
There are almost 3,000 people waiting for a driving test in Kerry.
Deputy Healy Rae raised the issue in the Dáil today.

He said it’s essential for everyone to have a driving licence in rural Ireland and he said testers should be working Saturdays and Sundays to clear the backlog.
