A councillor has asked for the elected representatives in the Listowel Municipal District to be kept informed on any developments in relation to a prime site in Listowel.
The Kerryman recently revealed that the three-acre site at the former Listowel Mart was bought by a division of the Remcoll Group, which proposes to build over 150 social homes.
The Listowel MD meeting heard a preliminary meeting has been held between the council and the developer.

Fine Gael Cllr Aoife Thornton asked that councillors be kept updated on developments related to the site.
