A Kerry councillor has hit out at Transport Infrastructure Ireland for failing to give advance notice of works on the Castleisland Bypass.
Cllr Jackie Healy-Rae told the Castleisland Corca Dhuibhne Municipal District meeting the road maintenance works in recent weeks caused traffic chaos.
The independent councillor said he understood TII has a job to do but they should have notified the council out of courtesy.

Director of Services with Kerry County Council, John Breen agreed and said that message has been strongly conveyed to TII.
