Cost of coastal properties increases by over a fifth since pandemic began

The cost of coastal properties has increased by over a fifth since the pandemic began.

This is according to property website Daft, which has analysed price changes in coastal properties on its website since the onset of COVID-19.

Properties for sale in coastal areas are now 23% more expensive than they were in January 2020.

In Kerry, Glenbeigh had the largest price increase over the 15-month period, with the average price increasing by 27% to €240,000.
