Cork Airport has become the first airport on the island of Ireland to be accredited through a new Airport Health Accreditation programme.
It’s been recognised by Airports Council International (ACI) World and ACI EUROPE.
The programme assesses new health measures and procedures introduced at airports as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The accreditation covers cleaning and disinfection, physical distancing, staff protection, physical layout, passenger communications, and passenger facilities.
