The completion of 89 assessments for children with disabilities in Kerry are overdue.
An 'assessment of need' allows a child to be diagnosed with a disability, such as autism, and then apply for the care they need.
HSE figures show that nationally over 3,500 reports are overdue with 83% at least three months late.
