According to social media reports, the Chinese coastguard may have been detected off the coast of Kerry.
Yesterday, a vessel, purporting to be from that country's coastguard, was apparently tracked through an online app - Marine Traffic
This app tracks marine infrastructure across the world.

The tracking was posted on Twitter.
Radio Kerry News has contacted the Irish Naval Services and Valentia Coast Guard for comment - both were unaware of any Chinese activity in Irish waters.
