Up to 30 people - including children - are involved in a feud involving members of the Traveller community in Killarney.
The garda response to the conflict centred in Ballyspillane - called Operation Spider - includes the provision of mediation services in a bid to resolve the ongoing row.
17 people were arrested after there was disorder, as well as attacks and assaults in Ballyspillane last Christmas; a number of these individuals have been charged.
Killarney gardaí have made other arrests relating to separate incidents connected to the dispute.
It's understood the conflict had some of its roots in a fight that broke out over a bouncy castle at a first communion party in May 2018.
Killarney gardaí have described the conflict involving the two groups as spanning the generations and that children have been arrested as a result of incidents arising out of the feud.
Mediation has been offered to both sides but it's understood the response to this has been disappointing.
In tandem with their criminal investigations, Killarney gardaí say they will continue to engage with both sides in an effort to end the tit-for-tat feud.
