A decision by Kerry County Council to grant permission to change the use of a factory in Tralee has been appealed.
In April, council planners granted permission, subject to conditions, to Met Pro Limited to change the used of over 3,300 square metres of the ground floor of a facility in Clash East.
The application sought a change from use as a weaving plant for cloth to corrosion protection and export packaging production.
This decision has been appealed to An Bord Pleanála by Frank O'Connor, who previously raised concerns about road access to the site.
The board is due to give its opinion by September 27th.
