Six business chambers in the south and west are calling for urgent action from the Government on air connectivity.
The groups from Cork, Ennis, Galway, Limerick, Shannon and Tralee - which represent more than 2,700 members, say there needs to be a clear roadmap for 'meaningful' levels of air travel to return.
They say areas outside Dublin have a heavy reliance on tourism and air travel and need the aviation sector to be supported as part of rural Ireland's recovery from COVID-19.
