A group of Castleisland secondary school students have been named as finalists in a national entrepreneurship competition.
Four students from Castleisland Community College were among the finalists of the national Foróige Youth Entrepreneur of the Year competition, from over 5,000 participants.
14-year-olds Ella Killington, Eilis Enright, Ciara Shanahan and Keeva Ahearn designed Timpeall An Tí, an educational board game that helps students learn Irish vocabulary and phrases at primary school level.
CEO of Foróige, Seán Campbell, says it's remarkable for a teenager to start a business at any time, but to do it in the midst of a global pandemic is quite extraordinary.
