A protest is due to take place in Mayo centring on the ongoing CAP negotiations.
The Rural Ireland Organisation, formerly known as Ireland's Future, is organising the event in Newport on Bank Holiday Monday (June 7th) at 11.30am.
The group is concerned at how small farmers are being treated in the CAP talks, which were recently suspended without agreement and will resume in around three weeks.
They are worried that smaller farmers may lose out on payments and the future of land use in the west of Ireland.
