A campaigner against further windfarm development in North Kerry has slammed a proposed renewable energy trail in the area.
Failte Ireland has made a submission to Kerry County Council as part of the draft Kerry County Development Plan, which will run from 2022 to 2028.
The tourism body says the local authority should develop an attraction for tourists in North Kerry involving a trail around windfarms.
There are currently 300 wind turbines in the region.
John O'Sullivan, who ran in last year's local elections and campaigns against further wind farms in north Kerry, says to ask a local authority to develop this is shocking.
Mr O'Sullivan says a historical trail would be of far more benefit to the area:
