The council is being called on to erect signage in South Kerry to alert motorist to the presence of deer in the area.
Independent councillor Dan McCarthy says more and more deer are making their way to the south of the county.
He says there are quite a number of them in Cahersiveen, Valentia and Ballinskelligs now.

Cllr McCarthy wants to the council to erect more signs to ensure motorists are aware of deer in these areas.
The council says the local Municipal District Office will assess these locations to see if such signage is required.
