There are calls for information to be published outlining the variants of COVID-19 that are spreading in each Local Electoral Area.
Fianna Fáil councillor Mickey Sheehy is asking the Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly to immediately publish the daily data pertaining to these variants to inform the general public. He says everyone is aware of the impact May's cyber-attack had on the HSE's IT system, but he feels having this data would be beneficial.
Cllr Sheehy says Kerry is dependent on the staycation market and feels the HSE should look at publishing this data to better inform people.
