A call is being made to remove the mandatory three-day waiting period for an abortion.
Kerry for Choice's comments come on the third anniversary of the repeal of the Eighth Amendment.
The group wants improvements to abortion legislation to ensure services are free, safe, legal and accessible locally for pregnant people; a review of the current legislation is underway.
Spokesperson for Kerry for Choice, Paula Dennan says the use of telemedicine for self-managed abortion, introduced during the COVID-19 pandemic, should remain in place.
Ms Dennan said the mandatory three-day waiting period places additional and unnecessary barriers in the way of marginalised people and those living in rural areas.
