Trinity College Dublin has launched an archive dedicated to a famous north Kerry poet.
Details of the Brendan Kennelly Literary Archive were announced during an online event earlier today.
The Ballylongford man will celebrate his 85th birthday tomorrow.

The collection charts all facets of Brendan Kennelly's life as a poet, professor, commentator and mentor.
President Michael D Higgins and Bono took part in the launch, along with poet Paula Meehan who recited “Begin”:
