Black Lives Matter protest to take place in Tralee this afternoon

A peaceful protest supporting the Black Lives Matter movement will take place in Tralee this afternoon.

The protest, which was organised by a group of young people from Tralee, takes place from 2-4pm in the Square in the town centre.

It aims to promote the Black Lives Matter movement and raise awareness about ending Direct Provision.

Co-organiser, Julia Szarota (Sha-rota), says that racism is still a problem here in Kerry.
