A bathing ban on one of Kerry’s blue flag beaches has been lifted.
On Monday, a prohibition order was put in place following a discharge from the nearby wastewater plant at Ballinskelligs Beach. This was caused by a burst in the rising main from the pump station.
Kerry County Council says the test results have come back all clear. The bathing prohibition at Ballinskelligs Beach has been lifted with immediate effect.
