Ballybunion Gardaí appealing to beach-goers not to block approach roads

Gardaí are appealing to people attending Ballybunion beach not to park on the approach roads, as it's blocking access in cases of emergency.

Ballybunion beach has been busy since early morning and remains open.

However, Gardaí have been forced to close the approach roads as cars were being parked along it; Gardaí say it's very dangerous as emergency vehicles wouldn't be able to pass through if needed.

They say there's ample parking available in the town and are appealing to beach-goers to avail of this and walk down to the beach.
