Approved housing bodies delivered 167 social houses in Kerry last year.
This is according to data compiled by the Department of Housing, in relation to local authorities' social housing delivery output.
Approved housing bodies are independent, not-for-profit organisations.
They provide affordable rented housing for those who cannot afford to pay private sector rents or buy their own homes, or for particular groups, such as the elderly or the homeless.
According to the department, approved housing bodies constructed 167 new homes in Kerry in 2020.
In 2019, approved housing bodies provided 115 social houses in Kerry, comprising 89 new builds and 26 acquisitions.
The previous year, the bodies delivered 23 new builds and nine acquisitions to the Kerry social housing pool.
