An American man, who was involved in a serious car accident, is in Kerry for a series of pilgrim walks to help assist his recovery.
Liam Schaefer required back surgery in 2020 when 3 of his vertebrae had to be fused; as a result he decided to climb Mount Kilimanjaro to help guide his recovery.
Mr Schaefer says that after he returned from climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, he was involved in a very serious car crash which meant another vertebrae had to be fused.

He successfully completed Cnoc na Dhubr in the Iveragh Penninsula yesterday.
