Almost three quarters of a million euro (€746,000) has been allocated to digital hubs in Kerry.
The funding will help Kerry hubs to improve and upgrade capacity for remote working.
The hubs are located in Killorglin, Tralee, Sneem, Killarney, Dingle, Kenmare, Cahersiveen and Castleisland.
It will also allow the hubs to deal with COVID-related challenges.
Education Minister and Kerry Fianna Fáil TD, Norma Foley has welcomed the announcement saying it will enhance the county's reputation as a vibrant, innovative and connected option for those choosing to work remotely.
