€69,000 has been allocated to support students' mental health in the Institute of Technology Tralee.
It is part of a national package worth €5 million announced by Higher Education Minister, Simon Harris.
The money will be used to recruit student counsellors, assistant psychologists and implement new frameworks around mental health and suicide prevention.
