Kerry Airport is to receive almost €1 million in government funding.
Minister of State for Transport Hildegarde Naughton today announced €23 million in financial supports across six airports in total.

The funding is part of a government scheme to help compensate airports for the damage caused to airport business by COVID-19, and is allocated based on passenger numbers in 2019.

Education Minister and Kerry Fianna Fáil TD Norma Foley and Kerry Fine Gael TD and Deputy Government Chief Whip Brendan Griffin have welcomed the funding for Kerry Airport.
Junior Transport Minister Naughton says more funding will be available for regional airports later this year.
