March sees almost 3 million passengers travel through Dublin and Cork Airports

Almost three million passengers travelled through Ireland’s two busiest airports last month.

Figures released today by the DAA showed a 9% increase in passenger at Dublin Airport on the same time last year.

Cork Airport saw a 25% increase for the same period.

The airport authority attributes the increase to St. Patrick’s Day festivities and an earlier Easter break.
