Kerry County Council issued 57 fines for littering in the first half of this year.
The information was provided at the recent Castleisland-Corca Dhuibhne MD meeting, follow a question from Independent councillor Charlie Farrelly.
The council says nine fines were issued in the municipal district between January and June.

According to the figures, seven of these have been paid to date.
