House prices in Kerry rose by 8.2% in the third quarter of this year compared to the same period last year.
The average asking price in Kerry is over €290,000, according to Daft.ie’s latest house price report.
Nationally, Limerick city recorded the highest jump of 9 point 7 per cent - while the most expensive homes are in Dublin, at an average of over 463 thousand euro.
Kerry’s house listings remain in the top ten most expensive in the country at €293,735.
According to the number of market transactions between January and June of this year, the average cost of a new build is significantly higher at €382,500.
Apartment prices have also risen with the average cost of a one-bed being listed at €109,000, a ris of 3.4%.
A two-bed terraced house averaged on €135,000, a 7% rise, while a three-bed semi-detached originally listed for €189,000.
The price of a four bed bungalow, compared to the same period last year, has risen by 9.5% to €365,000.
The largest increase was recorded in the average listed price of a five-bed detached at 15.3% at €381,000.
