57 groups in Kerry were approved for COVID-19 Emergency Funding by Kerry County Council.
The grant is for organisations actively involved with the Kerry Community Support Helpline, delivering frontline services including meals, groceries, medicine, and fuel.
Under the first round of the scheme, almost €58,000 was allocated to 57 groups.
The council received a further 20 applications in the second call for funding, and these are currently being assessed for the remaining grant of €21,000.
