The 50th Listowel Writers’ Week festival will get underway this evening.
The festival will open at 8 o’clock tonight and it’ll run until June 6th.
Among the highlights is the Kerry Group Irish Novel of the Year award which will be presented tonight.
Organisers have put together a wide-ranging programme which includes story trails, art exhibitions, illustration workshops and interviews.
The majority of events will take place virtually however, there will also be some events physically taking place in Listowel.
