The Department of Health has reported 4,607 new cases of Covid-19 this evening.
579 people are in hospital with the virus, of whom 115 are in ICU.
Chief Medical Officer, Tony Holohan, says Covid-19 continues to have an significant impact on the health service, and urged people to follow public health guidance.
