There are 29 patients waiting on trolleys in University Hospital Kerry’s Emergency Department.
That’s according to figures provided by the Irish Nurses and Midwives’ Organisation.
They show that nationally today, there are 463 waiting for a bed in hospitals.

University Hospital Limerick is the most overcrowded with 62 waiting on trolleys, while there are 47 people waiting for a bed in University College Hospital Galway.
