27 patients waiting on trolleys in UHK

There are 27 patients waiting on trolleys in University Hospital Kerry’s Emergency Department.

That’s according to figures provided by the Irish Nurses’ and Midwives’ Organisation.

Nationally today, there are 634 waiting on trolleys.

University Hospital Limerick is the worst affected with 90 people awaiting beds, while there are 73 without a bed in Cork University Hospital.
