There are 26 patients waiting on trolleys in University Hospital Kerry.
That’s according to figures from the Irish Nurses’ and Midwives’ Organisation.
In UHK, 19 patients are on trolleys in the Emergency Department and a further seven people are on trolleys in wards.

Nationally, 522 people are waiting for a bed in hospitals today.
University Hospital Limerick is the worst affected by overcrowding, with 84 patients on trolleys there.
