25kg of litter collected on North Kerry beach

25kg of litter was collected on a Kerry beach last weekend.

26 volunteers joined Clean Coasts and Fáilte Ireland in Fenit to remove four bags of litter.

The clean-up was organised by Clean Coasts as part of their summertime Enjoy and Protect campaign.

The aim of these events is to raise awareness on keeping marine and wildlife spaces clean for locals and tourists.
