Over 250 good causes in Kerry supported by National Lottery
National Lottery Good Causes fund. Rathmore Social Action Group, Co Kerry, a multi purpose local community group catering for young and old - from playgrounds to sheltered housing. Since it was set up 30 years ago, the National Lottery has raised more than €5 Billion for such Good Causes all over Ireland. Over 250 good causes in Kerry were supported by the National Lottery in 2018 and 2019.

An average of 46,000 people in Kerry play National Lottery games every week.

Around 91% of revenue raised by the lottery is returned to the community through prizes, retailer commissions and funding for good causes.

This includes sports clubs and community groups and projects.

Among the Kerry causes to be supported was Rathmore Social Action Group to help develop a progressive care programme for older people.
